Our Story
Ten years ago, in the vibrant heart of London, our story began. A brave choice followed by a chance encounter on a dating site quickly turned into something extraordinary. From the moment we started talking online , we couldn’t stop—it was as if we had always known each other.
Two months later, on August 27th, we finally met in person at a Starbucks café in Birmingham. Our first meeting confirmed what we had both felt all along: we were meant to be together. It was the beginning of something special, a connection that only grew stronger with time.
Our journey hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been filled with love, laughter and endless lessons. In the first year, we learned patience and the importance of cherishing every moment together due to living so far away from each other. When we finally moved in together, we discovered the beauty of building a life side by side, constantly learning from each other, and growing as individuals and as a couple.
Along the way, we’ve faced challenges that tested our strength, like the heartbreak of a failed adoption and the pain of losing a beloved family member. Yet, through it all, we’ve stood by each other, proving time and again that love truly conquers all.
Ten years on, our love is deeper than ever—a love built on trust, shared dreams and the unwavering belief that together, we can handle anything. As we take this next step, we’re excited for all the adventures ahead, grateful for the lessons behind us, and overjoyed to share this journey with the people we love.
As we embark on the next chapter, we’re ready for our biggest adventure.
With Andrew soon being retired and ready to enjoy the fruits of his hard work, we’re starting a new life together in Hungary. It’s a dream come true, one we’ve built together, though it means leaving behind loved ones we’ll miss dearly. But no matter where we are, family remains at the heart of everything we do. We’ll stay close through visits and calls, ensuring those bonds only grow stronger and more importantly our aim is to join our English and Hungarian families.
On this special day we are truly honoured that you joined us.
